Never Ending File Activity

Thread began 12/24/2010 3:45 am by serhat_alpaslan | Last modified 12/27/2010 11:43 am by Dani Chankhour | 1949 views | 1 replies |

Never Ending File Activity

Dreamweaver CS5 seems to be spending way too much time with background file activity.

When I either try to edit a recordset in simple view (from advanced) or when I try to create a new recordet, the 'file activity' window opens and then hangs for ages before dreamweaver crashes. This has only just started happening. I test on a local machine, the connection works fine when tested and the pages already developed work fine.
I renamed the configuration folder as this has helped resolve errors in the past but not this time.

If the file activity is active, it means you are working on your remote view. If you are working locally then the file activity should not be active. Make sure to be working in the local view in Dreamweaver.
