Retail Pricing

Thread began 12/21/2010 10:49 am by robert329616 | Last modified 12/21/2010 4:04 pm by robert329616 | 775 views | 2 replies |

Retail Pricing

I am having an issue with the retail price strike through.
I have an item with 2 options, standard at 375.00 and leather at 400.00. I set the retail price for both in advanced options -375 and 400 respectively.

I am getting Retail Price: 400 (strike through) and right below I get the 375 - 400 range on the results page. Why do I get the strike through when I set the retail price for each option. Shouldn't this only happen if I discount one or both of the options?

It should not display the retail price if it is not less than the product price. I think I might see the problem...

on the page /webassist/plugins/catalog/results.php

Update the line of code (around line 247)
<?php if( (isset($row_MaxMinPrice['MaxRetail']) && ($row_MaxMinPrice['MaxRetail'] != "") && $row_MaxMinPrice['MaxRetail'] > $ProductPrice)) { ?>

<?php if( (isset($row_MaxMinPrice['MaxRetail']) && ($row_MaxMinPrice['MaxRetail'] != "") && $row_MaxMinPrice['MaxRetail'] > $row_MaxMinPrice["MaxPrice"])) { ?>

I think that will solve the issue... you could also just leave the retail price blank if it is not less than the actual price.

Did this help? Tips are appreciated...

I still have the strike through. I think I will leave the retail area blank for these.
