Get a shipping rate before showing the shipping cost in the cart page

Hello,
Where are the instructions on creating and integrating an get rate page for UPS shipping?

The Display Manager looks to want to create a page that already have the base shipping values displayed but I have yet to poll the Shipper for the complete rate.

It looks like I should Exclude the Shipping value on Step 3 of the Display Manager and create some intermediary page that allows selections of shipping (overnight, ground etc), gather those results and "then" be able to show a summary page.

I can't find any instruction on this or see a behaviour to generate the shipping rate page.

Can someone point me in the right direction on this?

Regards,

Steve

when you run the checkout wizard, the checkout page is created to collect the shipping address.

The cehckout page posts the information to the confirm page. on the confirm page, the shipping rate lookup code runs to calculate the shipping using the shipping address from the checkout page.

The shipping rate will then be displayed on the confirm page.
