Ecart Local Checkout issue

Hi,

I have a local checkout setup on this page and an email reciept is generated when an order is placed. There is an issue that is sporadic.

An order is placed and 3 email reciepts are sent out, but the order does not get inserted to the database.

When I test it, it works fine and it only opens every few orders. Am I missing something in the code?

thanks,
Eric

the code looks correct to me, we would need to have an exact set of steps to reproduce the error to be able to troubleshoot what is going wrong.

Hi Jason,

That is the problem, I can't seem to reproduce the issue. It seems to randomly happen. I am wondering if it is a browser issue or maybe a server issue.

thanks,
Eric

It's impossible to troubleshoot an issue that cannot be reproduced.

It's possible is could be a server issue, it's also possible it could be a myriad of other things.

if you could reproduce the problem, we could probably figure it out pretty quickly.

examine the email receipts that are sent for the orders that fail to insert to the database, is there a common item in the cart when it fails? it could be one of the product descriptions causing the insert to fail.
