Upload quirks

Upload quirks

I've created a form that uploads files using Digital File Pro. I also have powergallery set up and a insert record to post the files name and other information in the powergallery table. It works pretty well except for when files that are identical are renamed. The power gallery is looking for the [name]_[increment]_132c file but it is renamed as [name]_132c_[increment] so it's not being found by the gallery. Is there a way around this?

the only way around this is to set the upload to overwrite the file if it already exits instead of renaming it.

Is there any way we could have it rename each of the files incrementally...starting with 00001.jpg, 00002.jpg, etc?

no, the upload function is set to add the increment at the end of the file name, this is not configurable.
