Security Assist 1.1.9 Wizard Errors

Having major issues.

I create a basic php page and run the Security Assist wizard (no connection created at first) I create a connection from with the Wizrd screen and I connect to database no problem

But when I pick my table in the main Wizard screen and try to choose a column, no choices appear only "MM_ERROR:HTTP ErrorCode 500 Internal Server Error" I cancel out of the Wizard screen.

When I try to run the Wizard again (either on the original page or any other page) I get an error of:

While executing onLOad in Security AssistWizard.htm, the following JavaSCript error(s) occurred:

at Line 248 of file "Macintosh HD:Users:myusername:Library:Application SUpport:Adobe Dreamweaver CS5:en-US:Configuration:COmmands:SecurityAssistWizard.js":
COL_LIST.options[COL_LIST.selectedIndex] has no properties

Only way to get out of this screen is to Force Quit or hot ESC key. I have fond that the only way I can try to run the Wizard again is to totally delete the Connections folder and start again only to get the "ErrorCode 500 Internal Server Error" message listed as the only choice within the column drop down on the main Wizard screen.

I have found that If I create a connection/recordset first manually (outside of the Wizard) I connect to the database and can see all the columns(field names) from the approriate pull down)

Please help me get the Security Wizard to work
Mac OS 10.6.5

Are you setting the connection up to connect to ta local or remote MySql server?

try using a local testing server for development if you are not already. For details on setting up a local testing server, see the learning resource page:

Security Assist

Here is the situation as best as I can describe.

When we first purchases Security Assist, we were on one server Linix/PHP and it was working fine.

Recently we have moved to a new server, still Linux but an upgraded version of PHP. The same database is used in both cases.

I am famailar with MAMP but would rather resolve the issue connecting with the Wizard to a remote server versus having to work locally via MAMP each time. Are you aware of any copatibities issues with version of PHP or permission/security issues will the server we should be aware of?

really, Dreamweaver is temperamental on connecting to remote MySQL servers. the server could also be set in such a way as to not allow outside connections.

It makes for a far better development experience to use a local testing server for development then upload to the remote server.

This is resolved. It was a mod security issue on the server
