MySQL Error#: 2000

Thread began 12/09/2010 12:16 pm by fmoulden229853 | Last modified 12/09/2010 12:24 pm by Jason Byrnes | 2091 views | 1 replies |

MySQL Error#: 2000

When I try to test a connection it returns a MySql error. I know that the values are correct because I can connect using other tools, just not using the WebAssist extension.

The error message implies that it is related to Old vs New password handling. Since the DB is on the host, I have limited access to what I can do with it. Is there some way around this? Is there something I can change in any of the supplied files to correct this?

you would be better of installing a local testing server for development. See the tutorial for installing a local testing server on the learning resources page:
