double check in the database, the first 3 things i would check are:
1) Is the password for that email address what you think it is?

2) In the email address or password column, are there surrounding spaces that you are not aware of?

3) Is the case of the email address or password the same as you entering them in the login form.

in fact security asssist authenticate user is not case sensitive, i can login with different user with lower case,( why is not case sensitive)
(2)actually i can login in different website and different database with same user name i use for testing.
(3) i try to register new one with same userEmail, it tell me it's already exsit
i try to thinks verything possible just no luck, this is just very odd

(4) and then i try to create new login page without security assist wizard when i login with same userEmail still no luck, but different one just fine.
Please help me jason, i really have no clue.

how are the access rules defined. If the user email address and password are correct, then I would guess an issue with the access rule is keeping that user from login in.

hi jason
i just find out that maybe i manually enter userEmail into data table
I remove it and then using register form to register with same userEmail and password
now i can login with exactly the same userEmail . But why when i manually enter in userEmail and password would cause this problem ?

My access rule is (allow if <?php echo $_SESSION['UserID'];?> Criteria <>
<?php echo $_SESSION['UserID']; ?>) it's look just fine.

So We dont have any problem with access rule right?
do you have any idea why when you manually enter you email and password into data table for testing will cause problem? do you think this will cause problem?
there may be still have problem with login page
I have one question, why security assist is not case sensitive, i can login with lower case even it's upper case in data table?

when you enter the email manually does the UserID column get a value?

case sensitivity depends on the collation type used for the table.
see the following page for details on case sensitivity with MySQL:
