Bold text issue

Hi,

I'm curious to know why my edited page text is all bold when I update. is there a way to override this?

This is what the original site text looks like (and I'd like to keep this look):

PROSPECT PARK SOURDOUGH (DAIRY FREE) - this header should be bold

- This section should be plain text -
No two sourdoughs are alike, this bread is a product of its environment, the wild yeast from the starter, the prospect park air and water, and the tender love and care we give this bread over three days before it hits the oven all go into its deliciousness.

$4.25

Thanks

Erick

PowerCMS Bold Text Issue

Hi Jason,

Sorry currently I don't have a page to see this issue at.

What I've discovered is that if I cut and paste text from a link (in Dreamweaver) that has a bold text header and normal text i.e. :
Todays Specials (this would be bold)
Pizza and a drink for $3.00 (not bold text)

PowerCMS will bold all text. What I discovered as a work around is to bring the text into note pad and then use PowerCMS to bold headers. One other interesting thing is that when I try to add a space between paragraphs via a return the space does not stay PowerCMS requires you to edit the source code <p></p> to add a space.

From my clients perspective this may be a little bit challenging for them to want to do. I love the concept of PowerCMS and have purchased.

Thanks

Erick

p.s. I'm using Chrome as a browser

what is the code you are pasting into the CMS Window?

Are you pasting the code into the CMS Window in code View or in design View?

If you are posting it in design view, what does the code look like if you switch to code view?

I have been selecting the text from the design view in Dreamweaver and then pasting it into the PowerCMS edit area and then clicking update. One other thing to mention is that in the PowerCMS edit window it looks correct and then when viewed in the browser it is all bold.

Hello Jason,

I've constructed a step by step explanation of what I doing with respect to the bold text issue that I'm having.

Step 1
Login to PowerCMS

Step2
Clicked on green +, located next to the Content Header

Step3
Named the new content location

Step4
Clicked edit > the Currently editing: content window opens up

Step5
Went back to Dreamweaver and copied my text from the design view

Step6
Back to PowerCMS and pasted text into the Currently editing Content window (where all of the formatting icons are showing)

Step7
Clicked update

Step8
Reviewed the page in a browser

Other things that I have tried:
Copied text and pasted into Notepad to try to remove any unneccessary formatting

Thanks

Erick
