Beginners Question

I have been asked to help a friend put together a simple booking calendar where time is booked in whole days but is able to accept several bookings for the same day.

At first I thought this would be simple and the setup of the DB is fine but showing on a single page a XY Grid showing X Days and Y Locations is proving a lot tougher than i thought as I cant get a query to show me all the Y locations between two days in a single query by day to produce a table. I can get the ones that have bookings and the ones that dont but not together and not with a result of 0 or 1 to build the table. Organising this into some sort of loop to generate the grid has me in knots. I was hoping WA had a calendar component or solution I could modify but see this is only on the wishlist.

Probably not explaining this well so have uploaded what i want to see as an attachment.

Can anyone point me to a tutorial or offer me some help / advice in setting up what takes moments in excel to setup.

Any help is very much welcomed.
