about uploading web site + database

Hi, I made a user-registration/log in site with a database in phpMyAdmin.
It works when I test it in XAMPP, but when I upload the site it doesn't.
How do I get the data base from phpMyAdmin-local to my servers phpMyAdmin and how is this connected again with the site!?
I know how to create a database on my server.
Is there a tutorial about this somewhere that I missed?!

You will need to export your local database. in PHPMYAdmin there is an export option that lets you export your database structure as a msql dump and then on your live server you can import your database in PHPMYAdmin as well.

You will probably need to change the connection file to point to your liver database server instead of the local server.
