Can't browse site normally in Live Edit

Can't browse site normally in Live Edit

When I'm in Live Edit, I can't click on any of the links within my text on the live site to test them (it just takes me back to the CMS, which is a little annoying). I have to log out of the CMS, then go back to the site, test, then log back into the CMS to continue working.

I don't want to disable it entirely (I saw in another thread that I can), but is there a way to not have the layer cover the entire editable area?

No, the live edit mode is really only intended for you to see what the changes look like, not for extensive testing.

to test the links you will need to log out.
