Default Option Question

Default Option Question

How does PS 3 save a particular option as the default?

I have a list of 5-6 options and set the first one as the default. I then realize that there is another (better) default option so I set that instead.

Everything works find and on the update screen it shows the proper default option, however on the live store in the product list, it does not show the new default option.

In looking at the db, I'm trying to figure how is a particular product/option stored to indicate it's the default?

The default option will be given the same ID as the product.

so for example, if you look in the ProductOptions table, it has the following columns:

ProductOptionID - Primary key
ProductID - Foregin Key, relates to products.ProductID
OptionID - Foreign Key, relates to options.OptionID
GroupingID - Foreign Key, relates to optionsGroups.optionsGroupID

If the value of the ProductID column and the OptionID are the same, that option is the default for that product.
