Recover Sites on old HDD

Hello,

I installed a new SSD and a clean copy of dreamweaver cs5 but now i realize I don't have all my website accounts!!! How I can get them from the old harddrive, which i still have with original files?

You will have to recreate the site definitions in Dreamweaver, you can either create new local folders for the sites, then copy the site files to the new local folder, or set the local folder to use the old drive.

Well I copied over the site folders, but how do I get it to grab the definitions (remote info etc). Hopefully I don't have to recreate it all. It has to be somewhere in the old files.

Dreamweaver stores the site definition information in the registry, you will not be able to get the information form the files, you must recreate the site definitions.

I never uninstalled windows from the other HDD either, so could i navigate the old files to get to the registry?

if you can still boot off of the old hard drive, you could boot it up, start up Dreamweaver. Go to Sites -> Manage Sites.

Then select each site definition and export it.

the boot into the new hard drive and import them

other than that the only option you have that I can offer support for is to create the site definitions from scratch.
