Facebook Connect/Single Login

Just wondering if anyone out there has tried to implement Facebook's Connect/Single Login with a CMS developed with SecurityAssist/DataAssist? I am in the process of trying this and we've got as far as passing the Facebook username, first name, last name and email to the login form, which is then used to create a local account.

The problem is implementing the single login function. I've been told by a developer that this cannot be implemented because of the way the CMS authenticates users.

Just wanted to see if anyone has any attempt stories to share or any other thoughts on this. I get asked by more and more clients for this feature and it would be great if it is possible to make it work with a site created with the Webassist products.

Thanks

its also my wish that this is supported or integrated into databridge, these days you need social login to encourage users to sign up to your website...
