Password Protecting Products

Password Protecting Products

We're wanting to sell school yearbooks to the different students/families so that the schools don't have to handle the money. Is there a way we can protect the different yearbooks and give a school code that they enter to buy their yearbooks. I know I can create a login page and create an extra column in the database table for the item number. The redirect link could be Products_Detail.php?ProductID={the recordset item number}. Is that the best way to do it, or is there a more secure way? Thanks

power store does not allow for password protecting products, this is not a supported modification.
