Cross selling / cross linking extension

I'd love for you to create an extension that enables me to cross sell or cross link records in a db. You know, the kind of thing that basically says if you like this, then you might like this too. INNER JOINS etc basically.

It would simply be a tool to make connections between records of one to many, or many to many, so I think it would have to create a table within a database that holds the info, and the linking would be created by a recordset within the page this extension is applied to... either that, or it's a stored procedure, but that still needs a recordset doesn't it.

JOINS have always been my undoing when it comes to building sites, and I know I have seen other users on here with the same problem.

I guess it would also need to create the admin pages that would enable the site administrators to link database content.

I assume it would be a tool that during use would ask the user to choose one table id and associate it with another table id within a DB.

Perhaps it's a two level process. One process is for the admin area to enable the web designer to build the admin pages, and the other process is to enable the web designer to publish it to the public side of the site.
