Setting sessions

In this form I attempted to set a session "t_cost". Why isn't it creating the session variable? Could it be a setting in PHP.ini? But other session variables are working.

look at the action on your form

action="../Gift/gift2.php

the session will never be set because you are posting to a different page, move your session code onto that page and all will be fine.
