xampp with remote files

question, i have xampp installed on laptop and desktop.
on desktop i set my xampp htdocs folder as a shared folder.

I want both laptop and desktop to use that folder for sites.
i have the settings in dreamweaver correct to use those files..that's all fine.
i need to figure out how to get xampp on laptop to use that folder on desktop for testing sites.
