server side validation with specific item id

i have applied a server side validation on a quantity field, so the maximum quantity allowed is 50, which works fine.

However i only want to apply this validation if the ItemID, supplied from a URL parameter, is specific.

i have done a workaround by putting both the validation code and validation show if code within if clauses, but is there a way to do this via the validation server behavior interface?

No, this cannot be accomplished without hand coding the if statement.
