FastCGI error

I have installed powergallery on my website. Installing went ok but when i call the created page : index.php?gallery=1&theme=dark

I get a FastCGI error :

FastCGI Error :
The FastCGI Handler was unable to process the request.

Error Details:

* The FastCGI process exceeded configured activity timeout
* Error Number: 258 (0x80070102).
* Error Description: The wait operation timed out.

HTTP Error 500 - Server Error.
Internet Information Services (IIS)

I have contacted my hosting provider and they told me that the problem is in the script. They said that the script is taking more then 30 seconds to work correct. They can not set the session time any longer because it is already on maximum.

Is there a way to get the script to work, ore did I waste my money?

Awaiting your answer soon,

with regards

can you crate a new php file named phpinfo.php and add the following code:
<?php phpinfo(); ?>

then upload it to your server, i would like to examine the php server settings.
