Nothing in Design View

Nothing in Design View

Since upgrading to the new build, I no longer get anything in Design View when I create pages from themes. I just see one editable region but none of the other elements on the page like it was in the original build.

Any thoughts on what may be the issue?

Thanks,

Brian

This is actually by design... the page with the theme applied that showed in the previous version was inaccurate since it wouldn't update with the original template. So now it applies the theme template which doesn't contain the surrounding design.

Keeping the code on this page represented an inefficiency and represented a page not in synch with the template that was applied to it. We may try to allow better design time viewing of themed pages in a future version.

Ray, this actually makes complete sense to me. I was just worried that maybe I had a JS issue or something else went wrong because it looked so different than the previous version. Now that I know it is behaving correctly, it is not a problem for me. I can always check the "Live View" to see everything with the design surrounding it.

Thanks,

Brian
