Multiple Record Insert Question

I just read the tutorial on this (excellent by the way) and was able to get this to work like a dream... My question is... the company name field will be the same on all repeat inserts. If a user fills the company name in once, is there a way to have it populate any repeat inserts?

just make sure that the company name form element is not inside the repeat region and this should work.

Hi Jason... I can give that a try... What the client would really like is for the information to be duplicated on each "form" on that page and the ability to edit details that are different for each insert... It's a registration, and often the information is the same except for first name; last name; and registration type/fee... Is there a way to populate each repeat region with data as it's entered.

No, this is not supported.

having a problem

Hi jason:
I'm having difficulty moving the multiple repeat region thing and getting it to work... I tried moving it down to the fields that would be different, but it only inserted "1" record, the last one I entered on a 5 repeat multiple insert.
