How do I remove the HTML markup when it posts

How do I remove the HTML markup when it posts

Is there a way to remove the HTML markup when I post. I just need the content within the body tag only. I get then entire markup when I post the form from iRite/FCKeditor. Is there a way to turn that off?

Thanks,

Chris

If you do not need the HTML code you should not be using HTMLEditor on that form field.

The entire idea behind using HTMLEditor on the form field to add the HTML Formatting code to the information entered.

neilo

Also remember that if you are pasting HTML in to the editor, that it must be pasted in 'Source' view:

Html

I just didn't want the <HTML><HEAD> tags because I'm including this content/code within an HTML page which already has those tags. I ended up stripping it out when I submit the form with PHP string function.

Thanks,

Chris

sorry we misunderstood, it sounded like you wanted to remove all of the html markup including <p> and <br> tags.

Glad to hear you have it working.
