Re-Install PS3 to PS4

Hi WA,

I trialled PS4 and updated to the 4.0.1 release - great work and nice instructions.

I've done this as I have to adapt it to my local geo (states, zip codes, payment gateway, . . ).

Four questions on this please

1) Can I simply delete the PS4_* tables and re-install 4.0.1 over my previous PS3 live site which was upgraded to 4.0.0, which had the PS4.0.1 updated applied to it. Then apply the localizsed pages or will there be issues in doing this?

2) Do I need to run the script to update the database to 4.0.1 or will the 4.0.1 updated files do this?

3) Does 4.0.1 also include the posts around SEO improvements?

4) I can login as a user and update the details, however items are not getting added to the cart, come up as cart empty (URL=

Thanks, Mark.

1) Sure you could delete the existing site pages, delete the ps4 tables and then reinstall 4.01.

2) If you are doing a clean install of PS4.01, meaning running the install wizard, you do not need to run the update script.

3) Yes, the 4.01 update includes SEO optimizations.

4) Perhaps there is an issue with session management on the server. try the session test file from this post:
