ecart5

hello,
I'm currently building a website, so I recently purchased the ecart5 dreamweaver extension.
I read the documentation and my installation has been successful. On my site I have a recordset rsProduct within it the column productID, productName, productDesc, productPrice, productcolor, productSize, productiImage and productThumb. Most of those column are set up
as default column on ecart5, I've created two additional columns (productColor and productSize) and i bind my recordset columns to ecart5 throughout the biding tab.
every thing is working properly all default columns are able to get data form my recordset and display it on my web pages but the two columns that i have created keep displaying the default value. Can anyone help? Thanks!

see the "Product Options with eCart" Tutorial on the eCart support page:

Basically you don't want to bind the size and colr directly in the add to cart.

instead you set those columns to be editable from a select list and you use the sizer and color recordset to populate the select list, there should be no default value set in the add to cart behavior for the optional columns.

Now,
how i can get the add to cart button to submit my editable form?

It should do that automatically.

If it is not, there may be a php error occurring, try adding the following code at line 1 of the page:

php:
<?php

error_reporting
(E_ALL);
ini_set('display_errors','on');
?>

It would also help to have a copy of the add to cart page in a zip file so I can see the code and a link where I can see the issue in the browser.
