Blank Screen when Installing PS3

Blank Screen when Installing PS3

When I enter the database credentials and select next the page loads for a while and then goes to a white screen. I could have one of the credentials wrong, but I have no idea which one. I inserted the following code to show errors in the top of the page because I saw it on another thread for power galery installation.

<?php
error_reporting(E_ALL);
ini_set('display_errors','on');
?>

But nothing showed up after that either. It's on install page 2.php and I'm running PHP 5.2.12

can you create a new php page and add this code to it:
<?php phpinfo(); ?>

then send us a link so we can look at the php settings.

It looks like your host is using MySQL version 4.1.14

Client API version 4.1.14

This will need to be upgraded to MySQL 5.

Ok, I upgraded to php5 a few days ago before I submitted this post, because it wasn't letting me get past the first step where it checks if php5 is installed. After I made the change to php5 it let me get by step 1 and verified that I was using php5. Is this a different setting I need to change now, because when I'm on step 1 it says "PHP 5.2.12, PHP 5.2.12 is installed."

Yes, this is the MySQL Server version, not the PHP version.
