CSS Form Builder 2 Startup file crashing Dreamweaver on start up.

Hi,

I've upgraded to the FB 2 and am now unable to launch DW when the following installation file is in the en_US > Configuration > Startup folder > AA_000_WAFB_Init.htm

Removing this file allows DW to start normally.

That file is checking to see if you had Universal Email, HTML Editor Digital File pro or validation toolkit installed before installing form builder.

Make sure that none of those extensions where installed prior to installing form Builder 2.

Hi Jason,

Long time no hassle. ;-) Thanks for the help.

I had uninstalled those prior to using Form Builder 1 which reinstalled them. Should I re-delete those and then re-install FB2?

With the start-up file disabled things seem to function normally although I haven't tried any e-mail tests on a server yet.

I'm confused, do you have both Form Builder 1 and 2 installed at the same time?

you should only have form builder 2 installed.

you should uninstall Form Builder 1, Universal Email, Digital File pro, HTML Editor. then install Form builder 2.

Jason, feel free to smack me with a "clue by four". I was lazy and assumed I could "let" the installer take care of the other files. (oh, I'm supposed to read AND understand the installation instructions?)

I uninstalled the files you mentioned and reinstalled FB2. Everything works as advertised. The new Web assist menu option in the main nav bar is great.

Thanks again for your help.
