cURL not available

Hi there,

I have upgraded the PS2 to PS4, but when installing it on live webserver (ISP) the installation fail because request the support for cURL (on localhost works fine). I have asked to my ISP for solve the issue but the answer is: cURL is not suppported on windows platform (because I suppose the PHP, used by my ISP Aruba works on Windows platform)instead is fully supported in Linux (I don't want change the ISP or platform now for this). I have this issue after the upgrade from PS2 to 4, have you a solution for by pass this check (cURL) during server installation??

This is not true. the cURL Extension for PHP is compatable with the windows platform.


you will just need to edit the php.ini file:
find:
;extension=php_curl.dll


and remove the semi colon:
extension=php_curl.dll

the cURL DLL is included in the PHP download for windows.

Hi Jason, thank you for your prompt reply, I am not able to edit the Php.ini on live server, but the ISP provide me a migration from windows (ver.php) to linux platform (ckeck this link ver.php for compare both version) for support cURL dll and other features (may suggest me if this migration will be advantage for me??) but useful for use the PS4 and other DW extensions???
