Problem adding field to forms?

Problem adding field to forms?

I have a set of Data Assist forms done and of course they work great. But now a client wants another field added to the form. I have added the field to the database - but I can not get it to show up in any of the WADA recordsets or any of the insert/update UI's?

Why will it not pick up new form fields? I can't even add the fields manually to the SQL Query ... it just reverts back all the time.

Sometimes Dreamweaver needs a nudge.

Close Dreamweaver and using the Operating System file manager (File Explorer for Windows, Finder for Mac) browse to your site files. Delete the "_mmServerScripts" folder at the root of the site.

open Dreamweaver back up and go to the database tab.

Expand the connection, then expand tables, then expand the table you added the new column to.

Doh!

I have completely forgotten about that. Been so long since I experienced that I thought that was fixed versions ago!

Thanks,
Brad

Brad,

It's a good thing we have Jason around to remind us of these things!

Yeah seriously .... I had completely forgotten about that. That used to happen so much before but I haven't run into that for a few versions of Dreamweaver and I had totally forgotten about that. I think it was Dreamweaver 8 or MX that it was a big problem and happened a lot.

Another solution to this issue is to use the refresh button that is on the databases tab, followed by the refresh button on the bindings tab. :)

Faster than exiting, finding, deleting and restarting.
