Problem with promaps_geocache_aspvb.asp

Hello all,

I have a (mostly) working map, however I am receiving some application errors like this (this is from an auto-generated email to me):

============================================================

ASPError
====================
ASPCode:
Number: -2147024893
Hex Number: 0x80070003
Source:
Category: msxml3.dll
File: /Web/google_javascript/promaps_geocache_aspvb.asp
Line: 42
Column: -1
Description: The system cannot find the path specified.

ASPDescription:

Form Values
====================
sender: promapsforgoogle
address: 120 Ash St, Danvers, Massachusetts, 01923, United States
action: add
entryId: 120 Ash St Danvers Massachusetts 01923 United States
geocode: (42.554984, -70.943286)

============================================================

It looks like this file is supposed to write an XML file to the server but I do not see the file where it is supposed to be. I don't know if this is a permissions issue or a bug. Can anyone assist?

That file should be created in the local google_javascripts forlder, can you see it in your local files?

I am sending a copy of the file just in case.

Sorry for the confusion. I have that asp file. What I meant was that it looks like the function of that asp file is to create an XML file. If that is true, then it is not writing the XML file. This is the file that I meant I do not have (code from: promaps_geocache_aspvb.asp):

xmlDoc.Load(server.MapPath("../_promaps_cache/_promaps_geocache.xml"))

thats probably a permisions problem then, you can try creating the file "_promaps_cache/_promaps_geocache.xml" manually. just make sure it is blank except for the following code at line 1:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

and make sure to give it read write permsions for everyone.
