image path

Hi

using the dataassist wizard in combination with UE4.

In the database I have 5 images which are uploaded using the file management section.

the upload path is set to "boat_images/ ".

If I manually input into the mysql table

boat_images/noimage.jpg

the image displays on the web.

However if I upload a replacement image as shown in the screen shot the image is entered as 1.jpeg not

boat_images/1.jpg.

I've attached a zip of the files as the site as yet is not live yet

any ideas what I've missed?

thanks

Ian

the path should not be added to the database.

the path to the image will be document relative and will change depending on the page you are displaying the image on.

its a better practice to add the path to the image tag rather than store it in the DB. for example:

php:
<img  src="boat_images/<?php echo $row_WADAboats["dt_boatImage1"]; ?>" alt="<?php echo $row_WADAboats["dt_image1_alt"]; ?>" width="300" class="WADADetailsMainImage" />
