Can eCart gather form data and send to cart?

Can eCart gather form data and send to cart?

We're re-building an e-com site and would like to know if eCart can gather data from a form with a few prices and then send that data to a shopping cart (pages)? One other challenge we are curious to know about are adding check box data to be gathered as well.

example: form has a flat price for an item, however allows visitor to choose add on items, kind of like ordering a pizza with additional / multiple toppings

This is a link to what we are re-building: catering-online.html

The lunch area of the above listed link is a great example.

Yes, eCart can do this.

for each form field you are going to create, you need to add a column in the eCart object. When adding the new column for the product options, you will need to check the Unique box for each option column.

then in the add to cart button, on the bindings panel, select each option column and set it to be editable from a text box.

after the add to cart button is set up, you can change the text boxes to check boxes in the code by changing the type attribute to type="checkbox".

When using checkboxes, make sure to set a checked value.
