Mega menu effect

Is CSS menu writer able to handle images and different styles of text per list item (li)?

What my client would like is something along the lines of a mega menu where it is attractive to look at and easy to navigate, possibly different widths between first level drop-down and second level. See this as an example:

Yeah, I know, it beautiful and very user friendly!

Is css menu writer able to handle such styling within the extension itself, or at least enable me to manually edit the content and styling of each list item without breaking the link to it meaning it becomes un-editable?

Thanks

The menu writer wizard will not be able to create this sort of menu.

after the menu where created, you could edit the menu by hand to add this, but if you where to edit the menu, it would overwrite your changes.
