Using with PowerGallery

I have clients who have a PowerGallery which they manage. I lot of times, the image is too large and times out. Can Image Re-sizer work with PowerGallery some how?

Yes. you probably could use the image re-sizer in power gallery. But could you please explain a little more about how is the gallery timing out, and if you could also post a link to where you are seeing the issue.

Timing Out

Some of the Photos are 5MB. It happens on all of my PowerGallery galleries. How would I fix it?

Image resizer won't help with uploading issues. It is designed to help resize images once uploaded.

Did this help? Tips are appreciated...

Rob,

You may find that your upload issues are due to your hosts placing a max size limit on uploads, this is normally 2mb.

Point your users at one of the many free image processors, Irfanview is one I point people to a lot, and have them reduce the size of the image before uploading.

Thank you. I didn't know there was a free service.

No worries, when I use windows machines (I am mainly a mac user) it is one of the first things I install.
