JPEG image quality
I would like to control the quality of the jpeg's outputted by the resizer as at the moment they are being outputted at the default IJG quality value, which is about 75 (see function.imagejpeg.php) and this quite frankly is to low to use for thumbnails for my clients.
So I have played around with the code and put up a sample page resizer.php which shows what I have come up with and the changes I had to make to the code. It would appear that once the CachedResize_Image.php file is created is does not get overwritten on each use, is this correct ?
If so you could make these edits by hand and save a copy of the file just in case and leave it there to do it's work.
I have only edited the code where the image is being saved to a folder for later use.
Comments and suggestions welcome.
