PowerStore 3.0.1 PayPal Express Checkout

I am testing PS 3.0.1 with Authorize.net and PayPal Express Checkout.

Authorize.net works ok.

When I click on the PayPal Express button to login to my PayPal account, I see the product price without shipping, tax, etc. When I click continue and return back to the confirm page, I see the product price, tax, shipping, coupon discount.

I was expecting to see full order total on the PayPal page before continuing on to the confirm page.

Is this by design?

yes. that is be design. Because we can't really calculate shipping or Tax till we know the shipping address.

Ok. Should we notify the buyer or leave leave them to figure this for themselves?

If you want to add a sentence or two explaining that process on your check out page, i think that would be a good idea. And just let them know that shipping and tax will be calculated when you come back from PayPal.
