CSS Form Builder 2 Build GMC14

We have been doing heavy testing on CSS Form Builder 2 and QA is close to signing off on it. I'd love to get feedback from anyone that can bang on it over the next few days.

Download GMC14.

One thing I liked was the notification that I had to uninstall Digital File Pro and Universal Email and reinstall Form Builder or else there may be issues.

After uninstalling all 3 I restarted Dreamweaver (CS5) as I normally do to recreate the cache which I had deleted, again a normal process for me when I am uninstalling your extensions, and I had reports of a few files that were missing, see screenshots below.

Reinstalling CSS Form Builder solved these issues but I thought it was worth pointing up as the shared files should not be removed if they are still needed by other extensions.

These are the WA extensions I have installed currently in CS5 as I am still doing most of my production work in CS4 I use CS5 for playing !

I had to make the last image a link as you have restricted each post to 4 images only.

Dave, this error happens when you uninstall any extension and had the associated panel as a part of your Dreamweaver workspace. Uninstalling the extension will not effect the workspace XML file.

To fix the error go to Window -> Workspace layouts -> Reset '<your layout name>'

DW wont start

Hi,

After installing form builder I cannot get DW to start at all.
I removed form builder, Digital file pro, and universal email, cache but no go, just quits on startup.
I'm running OSX 10.6.4 DW CS4.

I have seen this rarely... here is what will usually fix it.

With DW closed, open up your DW Configuration folder and rename the Translators and Startup folders (append "_old" or something like that). Then delete the cache file from that same directory.

Now open DW and it should open without issue. Then close DW and rename those folders back the the original names and start dreamweaver and it will probably all be back to normal.
