Dynamic Add to Cart Button not available

Hi,

I'm trying to set up my first eCart (version 5) & want to sell products with a number of options e.g. size, colour etc.

I've set up a database, using your free mySQL database & added one product with a few options. I've added the recordset to the site & the eCart object. However, when I use the add to cart button, only the add static item radio button is available. The Lookup from recordset option is greyed out.

My recordset is set up for the site; why doesn't the add to cart button tool pick it up? What should I do?

Thanks

As a test, try creating a new PHP site in DW and try adding an eCart object and record set and see if you are getting the same results.

I created a new page on another site, which already has a recordset defined & has been running for a couple of years.

Again, the "lookup item id from recordset" option was greyed out.
