More problems getting started

I have a Power CMS 2 and have uploaded it and have it working. The problem comes from using it on an existing web site that was created form template pages in Dreamweaver. I am disappointed that there is no documentation on what do after Power CMS starts working.

I used my index page to edit with CMS and “column01” is an editable region created in Dreamweaver so I used that as the test page. The text that was already there didn’t show up so I copied it and paste it in to the CMS edit area. I updated the CMS. Refreshed the index.php and nothing happened which didn’t surprise me. I went back in to CMS and added some text , refreshed and nothing. This is not what I expected. My question is how do I apply this to an existing page and control the text on it?

In each of the Content area headings, right next to the edit link, is a link for Developer Notes.

Click on the developer notes link, this will display The instructions for adding that content area to your PHP page.

I'm sorry, I did that. I have attached the page with the code pasted.

in power cms, the page name should not contain an extension.

OK, that worked. I didn't see where there is a place to use em's or px for font sizes. Were an unordered or ordered list can be generated and a specific width or how to contain text and images with in a specific Div that has a specific width. Is there a User guide for formating in the edit widow or is this just going to be like Word.

HTML editor will only use pixals for font sizes.

In the toolbar, there are buttons for adding a numbered or unordered list.

to add a div around specific text or images, you will need to modify the source code and add the div manually.
