Power CMS102 Google not picking up Images on site

Hi Everyone,

One of my clients has PowerCMS 102 installed on their site and they are concerned that Google does not appear to be able to see most of the images on their site.

All the images are placed in the images file within separate files for each page. Some of the photos on the home page are showing in Google but non from the other pages.

Has anyone else come across this before and is there a workaround??
All the photos have alt text and all all jpg's

Thanks in advance.
Chris

Can you please explain a little more about the issue.

I'm not sure what you mean by Google not picking up the images?

Are the images showing on your site?

Hi,

If you type the site into Google (wellworthavisitdollshouses.co.uk) and go into the images page on Google and only three images from the home page and one other image from one of the other pages are showing. Nothing from any of the other pages are on there.

I don't quite understand why only these pics are showing when there are plenty more that it could be showing. Google is picking up most of the pages in the site so why not the images from those pages.

Thanks.

I do see the issue you are reporting, but I'm entirely sure why Google is reading those images. I know you will need to have an alt and a title specified in order for Google to read it but it looks like the images already have those attributes.

I hope someone more familiar with this issue can explain the reason behind not all images showing when doing a Google Search.
