PS 4 install problems

When installing ps 4 I get this error:

ERROR: Failed to save the settings in the database. Please verify your database connection

I get this error on step 4 "Admin Login" I have double checked my db info and all is correct and working properly. Can you tell me how to get past this to finish the install.

after finishing step 2, a PowerStoreConnection.php file should be created in the Connections folder with the correct details to connect to the database, it should also have created the database on the server. Double check that the connections file exists and that the database was created.
