Authorize.net issue

Authorize.net issue

This is sporadic, but it happens once every 5 or so orders:

msxml3.dll error '80072ee7'
The server name or address could not be resolved
C:\INETPUB\WWWROOT\PRESERVATIONSOCIETY.ORG\WWW\SSL\TOURS\../../WA_eCart/Adv_CO_Scripts/AuthNet_VB.asp, line 43

This ASP and once the submit order button is pressed it displays the error page. The domain name is transact.dll
for Authorize.net.

Is this an issue on my end or Authorize.net?

thx
Eric

what version of eCart?

Check with your host to make sure that the msxml3.dll library on the server is up to date.

it sounds to me like the server is somehow limiting the number of connections that can be made using the msxml3.dll library.

Hi Jason,

Cart 4 on ASP. I am updating the .dll file now so we should be good to go.

Thanks!
Eric

OK, hopefully the dll update does the trick.
