PS4 meta tags
How would I add meta tags (keywords, description, title) to my pages from the PS4 store manager?
How would I add meta tags (keywords, description, title) to my pages from the PS4 store manager?
I just tested it and it appears there is a bug in that feature. I'm afraid it won't be possible until we make a few updates. I'll have someone work on it now and we'll include it in a dot release in the next week or two (depending on how many other bugs are discovered in that timeframe). We may be able to get a beta to you more quickly if you need this feature urgently, but it would be better to wait a week and let us thorougly test it and address any other issues that might come up so you only need to update once.
Great News. Happy for the dot release
Thank you Jason. I am looking forward to this update.
meta tag "description" does not show for the "home page" or "about us" after entering the data in the Content Manager
I can't seem to reproduce the problem you are having.... I'll open a support incident, please reply to it with the url of your admin and I will see if I can look into it further and find out what is happening.
Hi Ray,
I have replied to the support ticket.
Thanks.

Hi Ray,
This issue is now resolved.
Thanks
Jason
Hi Jason,
Was this a site specific problem or a worthwhile solution for all PS4 users?
Thanks, Mark.
Hi Mark,
The problem started when upgrading from PS 4.0 to PS 4.0.1. The PS 4.0.1 setup has instructions to manually run an SQL statement for meta tags (keywords, description, title). I ran it and got and error shown in this thread.
showthread.php?t=16657
I did run the SQL statement at least one other time to verify it gave the same error.
I believe running that SQL statement and the one found in the thread above cause the issue I was having.
The PS4_contents table had duplicate entries for meta tags and the ID's in the table were mixed up.
I was instructed to empty the PS4_Contents and PS4_ContentHistory tables.
Then I had to manually add specific lines from the PS 4.0.1 db.sql file.
Then I had to manually add back all the custom code from a backup of an SQL dump file to get my store looking the way it did before.
