PS4 Menus

PS4 Menus

Does CSS Menu Writer 2 work for editing the PS4 Menus?

Also, it seems that as soon as I change anything in the templates, the designer blows up and will no longer let me change or choose a different template. Is this how it was designed to work?

I love the new Power Store! Great Job!

Menu writer was used to create the menus, but we added quite a bit of code by hand so that it cannot be edited with menu writer at this point. The designer should still allow you to choose a new dewing after editing... However, while you are currently editing a design it will be locked to preview that design until the design editor is closed.

What about adding functionality to just add navigation items from the admin area? This seems like a logical feature to have but has not yet been supported. If you create a new page (by clicking the plus sign) there should be a checkbox to "Include in Site Navigation" or something like that so we don't have to do it "manually" through dreamweaver menu.php etc

or am I going about this wrong?

If you add a page to the "Custom Pages" section it will automatically include it in the menu.

Pages added to the "footer pages" will be added to the footer, and "News" pages will be added to the home page news section.

When I add to the custom pages item, it just becomes a submenu.

Right, it is included as a submenu. If you want different functionality it would require hand editing the menu plugin.

Oh ok, that is what I figured so I was referencing the fact that this IS the case and how come there is no feature to just add the menu item in, from the admin area? Can't it be set to populate the navigation menu from a database set, which comes from adding items in the CMS.

We most likely will at some point add a feature to better manipulate the menu options from the admin. That feature just hasn't been added yet. It is certainly possible.

What are the exact paths to edit the design/layout of the various powerstore items? (navigation, location of content areas, etc)

Usually they are in the templates are but this just has 1 file and when opened just shows a white page with banner/searchform/main/sidebar/sidebar2/end.

I want to add a specific navigation menu item and have it show up in the CMS.

The menu file is stored in webassist/plugins/main_menu/menu.php
