Add days to timestamp date from recordset

I'm trying to display a date that is 4 days after the timestamp date in my database this will be an expiration date. I keep getting an error anybody see what I'm doing wrong? Thanks.

<?php $NewDate = (($row_WADAfunkycouponsused['printdate'])"+4 days"); echo $NewDate; ?>

you have to convert it to a time stamp to add days, use date to convert it back:

php:
<?php $NewDate = (strtotime($row_WADAfunkycouponsused['printdate']."+4 days")); echo date("Y-m-d h:m:s"$NewDate); ?>
