ecart cart page buttons not working after upgrading to php5

Now when clicking on the checkout buttons and other buttons i just get the ? after the name of the page so it refreshes from cart.php to cart.php?

But nothing happens, it doesnt go to checkout, it doesnt update the cart or anything..

most likely a php error is occurring.

add the following code at line 1 to turn error reporting on:

php:
<?php

error_reporting
(E_ALL);
ini_set('display_errors','on');
?>

Ok found the issue.. on the phone with the hosting company for a few hours..

1. output buffering in php4 was set to OFF

2. output buffering was set to 4k in php 5, so it was buffering the old header and not forwarding the page. I think they turned it off to get everything working back to normal. I will have more details soon.

Everything is working now
