Text Styling in the admin section

Text Styling in the admin section

Hi, I have everything installed and working. I have even add styles and they work fine. My problem is when I try to format the text. I can apply a style to a section of text but if I want to change the style it doesn't clear out the old style. How do I fix this problem? Right now I have to go into code view and remove the style in the code.

I can't see an easy way to remove the styling in HTMLEditor, however, it seems that if you click on the Styles drop down and click the same Styles that was previously applied, then it will remove that style.

I will keep looking to see if there is a way to remove all styles.

Styles applied from the 'styles' drop-down list can (as Dani says) be removed by selecting the styled area, and clicking the same stye in the drop-down list again. It should have a little arrow to the left of it to show it has previously been applied.

The easy way to remove styles from formatted text - by selecting individual styled areas, whole sections containing multiple styles, or indeed the whole editable area text, is to select the selections, areas or whole page, and click the 'Remove Formatting' icon in the toolbar.

See attached image.
