Asset Manager similar to PowerCMS

Asset Manager similar to PowerCMS

I would love another package like PowerCMS that would allow the Client an interface to manage their website's assets - i.e. the images and the videos and the document downloads.
i.e - I have a site built with PowerCMS which allows the client to update the content but not the images that appear in the 'surrounding template' (outside the PowerCMS links)
as a dirty fix I have made these images with standard names and put them in the images folder so any session in PowerCMS can upload and overwrite these images so the site can be updated this way. But I would like a cleaner interface to simply display the assets and allow the client to update, remove etc..
any thoughts?

Thank you for the suggestion.

It is an interesting idea to try to add asset management to the html management currently supported through powerCMS.

In the meantime you can add more file control with something like: kfm.verens.com/
which would plug right in to the powerCMS framework and/or could be accessed directly.
