Z-index problems in IE

Hi, I've got a vertical menu with a bunch of Level 1 menus slipping behind my Flash in the main content area of the page. I tried giving the Flash object a Z of 80 and that took care of the problem in Firefox. IE, no way, no how.

Tried giving the level 1 tag a z of 110, then the left column div itself a z of 110 - nada.

Help! Thanks!!! ttt

you need to set the wmode property of the flash object to transparent.

wmode

Hi - thanks for the response. I'm in Dreamweaver. I'm not a newbie, but this is advanced for me - here is the code on the flash:

<object classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=9,0,28,0" width="650" height="360" title="Seminole Wellness">
<param name="movie" value="panel.swf" />
<param name="quality" value="high" />
<embed src="panel.swf" quality="high" pluginspage="http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="650" height="360"></embed>
</object>

Can you give me the code for wmode and where it goes? Should I set it in the doc itself or in all the menu.css's?

Again, thanks for the response...ttt
